Lewis Wagner, LLP is pleased to announce that DRI has named Partner John Trimble as the recipient of this year’s Richard H. Krochock Award. The annual award honors an individual who has provided exemplary leadership to the DRI Young Lawyers Committee through sponsorship or participation in its programs and activities, provided guidance, support and service as a mentor to Young Lawyers Committee members, and who has promoted those qualities which enhance the public image of the civil defense trial lawyer.
Trimble served on the Board of Directors of DRI from 2003-2006 and has continuously been an active participant on several committees. In 1999, Trimble received the Fred H. Sievert Award for Outstanding Defense Bar Leader. More recently, Trimble has chaired DRI’s Law Practice Management Committee where he has been a spokesman to the defense bar on best practices.
Trimble earned his Bachelor of Arts from Hanover College and J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Since 2004, he has been selected for inclusion in Indiana Super Lawyers® and ranked number one overall in Indiana from 2011-2018. He was also selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Insurance Law; Mediation; and Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants. He was named Best Lawyers’ 2013 Indianapolis Insurance Law – Lawyer of the Year, Best Lawyers’ 2015 Indianapolis Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants – Lawyer of the Year, Best Lawyers’ 2019 Indianapolis Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants – Lawyer of the Year, and Best Lawyers’ 2020 Indianapolis Mediation- Lawyer of the Year.
