Rob dedicates his practice exclusively to the representation of truck drivers and trucking companies in all aspects of civil litigation, but primarily the defense of accidents involving wrongful death or catastrophic injuries.
Prior to joining Lewis Wagner, Rob served as in-house counsel and acted as managing partner for a captive law firm in the insurance industry. Over the last two decades, he has resolved hundreds cases, both inside and outside of the courtroom, leveraging extensive industry knowledge, a commonsense approach, and careful planning to achieve beneficial results for his clients.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, two mostly-grown children, and their dog. Rob is also a golf junkie, loves to travel, and enjoys cheering for all IU sports.
Rob has extensive experience representing drivers, trucking companies, and their insurers in almost every state and federal court in Indiana. He has argued numerous cases in the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court on issues including, the inapplicability of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act to intrastate commerce, spoilation issues related to missing driver logs, and disqualifying opposing expert witnesses. Many of those decisions are published and available for review.
