Lewis Wagner is proud to announce that Lynsey David and Robert Foos, Jr., both partners in the firm’s transportation practice group, have been selected by The Indiana Lawyer as 2023 Leadership in Law award recipients.
Lynsey has been chosen as an Up and Coming Lawyer and Rob has received the Distinguished Barrister award—both honors are given to only 15 individuals across Indiana each year. These awards recognize members of the legal community who continuously show their commitment to the profession, as well as to the clients they serve and communities in which they live and work.
Lynsey has been recognized as an Up and Coming Lawyer, which honors attorneys within their first 10 years of practice who have already made significant accomplishments in their professional practice and show a deep commitment to supporting the legal field and their communities. Lynsey’s practice is focused on representing commercial motor carriers in litigation across Indiana. She is also dedicated to continually growing and evolving her practice and supporting the local legal field through continued involvement with numerous organizations, including the Indiana State Bar Association and Indianapolis Bar Association. In addition, Lynsey is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the firm and the local legal community, devoting time to serve as Vice-Chair and Secretary for the Indiana State Bar Association’s Diversity Committee, as well as sitting on the Board of Directors for GenderNexus.
Rob has been honored with the Distinguished Barrister award, which recognizes attorneys with more than 20 years of experience who have shown a deep commitment to their practice and the overall profession through leadership and mentorship. Rob has established himself as a passionate and zealous advocate for his clients, the trucking industry and the legal community. After starting the firm’s transportation practice group, the team has expanded to include five additional attorneys who handle a robust litigation practice under Rob’s leadership. Rob also shares his experience with the greater defense community, often lending his time and experience to speak on the national stage to educate clients on the latest tactics to defend trucking-related claims.
